Early Childhood Australia (ECA) has been a voice for young children since 1938. We are the peak early childhood advocacy organisation, acting in the interests of young children, their families and those in the early childhood field. ECA advocates to ensure quality, social justice and equity in all issues relating to the education and care of children aged birth to eight years

Family and Children’s Services aim to improve family functioning, and child wellbeing by providing early intervention and prevention services to families to assist with family formation, prevent family breakdown, enhance family functioning and support parents to care for their children.

ACECQA is an independent national authority and one of ACECQA’s many roles is to educate and inform the wider community about the importance of improving outcomes in children’s education and care. We also provide governments, the sector and families with access to the most current research to ensure NQF policy and service delivery is in line with best practice across the country.

The Raising Children Network website is based on the philosophy that all children and families are individual and different. We provide scientifically validated information, translated into everyday language, to help parents and carers make decisions that work for them in their individual family circumstances.

The Victorian Framework describes five Learning and Development Outcomes for children from birth to eight years, linking the learning outcomes from the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) Levels 1 and 2. The outcomes provide a shared language for all early childhood professionals and families to use when planning for children’s learning and development.
